European Accessibility Act (EAA) Compliance Checker

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is an EU law that requires certain products and services to be accessible for people with disabilities. It applies to private sector companies operating in the EU with an annual turnover of at least 2 million euros or at least 10 employees. The EAA references the EN 301 549 standard for digital accessibility requirements.

If you do business with at least one of the EU member states listed above, and:

  1. Your annual turnover is 2 million euros or more
  2. OR you have at least 10 employees

You are required to comply with the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

Section 508 (US) Compliance Checker

Section 508 is a US law that requires federal agencies and organizations that receive federal funding or contracts to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities.

  1. Is a US federal agency or department
  2. OR receives US federal funding or contracts

You are required to comply with Section 508.
